Being the first low-cost carrier in Southwest region of China and facing fierce competition among other full service airlines in the area, 9 Air kept the cost down without reducing services. In the next few years, they plan to expand the network to within 5 hours flying radius to Southeast Asia, Northeastern Asia, and Australia from 9 Air’s hub, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is China’s 3rd-busiest and world’s 13th-busiest airport by passenger traffic. By covering more than 200 direct and indirect flight routes, the airport is connecting to 50 countries worldwide. Location wise 9 Air’s hub becomes very easy and convenient to commute for pilot from East to the West.
One of the Tier 1 cities and South Gate of China, Guangzhou is well developed in all kinds of aspect as well as gourmet. With the popularity of Cantonese cuisine inside and outside of China, traveling to the heart of Cantonese region without trying traditional dim sum brunch (yum cha), little pot rice (bao zai fan), and siu laap (shao la) would be a big travel regret.
