Two years ago, Jose Ruiz, a vibrant, hard-working MD80 Venezuelan pilot who traveled ten thousand miles to Taiwan for a change of his career; to grab the B777 transition opportunity. This path was not an easy road to take, given the on-going political turmoil in Venezuela. In order to obtain all the materials required for EVA Air reporting, Jose had to put in tremendous effort to overcome all the unimaginable obstacles, but he was always THINKing POSITIVE; never give up.
After Jose opened a new chapter of career with EVA Air and resided in Taiwan, he was so blessed to have met Charice, a Taiwanese girl who became the love of his life. So this lovely couple continued the story by opening another new chapter of love.

If you've met Jose in personal, you'll fall in love with him instantly. His good-hearted, cheerful personality, great sense of humor, and admirable persistency bring positive influence on people around him. From the couple encounters with Charice we can see that her personal traits are very similar to Jose's. You will not miss the sparkles in their eyes when the couple are together. Who said opposites attract?!
APAS is very grateful to have participated in Jose's story of career, as well as witnessed his story of love. On January 6th, 2019, Jose and Charice shared their moments of happiness and love.
